Dr. Chulhwan Jake Kim’s path to dentistry was anything but ordinary but it was exactly what shaped his depth of knowledge and dedication to patient care. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from the University of Maine, then explored various academic opportunities at institutions including Syracuse University, Cornell University, The Ohio State University, and New York University College of Dentistry. Ultimately, he found his professional home at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Dr. Kim is licensed to practice dentistry in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Fluent in Korean and Japanese, he is able to connect with a diverse range of patients and is known for his humorous side while staying laser focused during his procedures.
With a strong focus on implant dentistry, Dr. Kim stays current with the latest technologies and advancements in the field. He is passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles and believes in building lasting relationships with his patients through comprehensive care that fits their lifestyles.
Outside the office, Dr. Kim enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. His hobbies include biking, walking, and watching his daughter compete in horse shows.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
